Vintage Christmas Cards

I have to admit that I absolutely love the 1950 - 60's era vintage Christmas cards! I guess that is probably because I was born in the 60's so my earliest memories are of these cards. But, also, the modern cards just can't hold a candle to the images and textures on some of the oldies.

The great thing about vintage Christmas cards is that lots of people saved them and you can often find them at estate sales or antique auctions in boxes that were pulled out of basements and attics. Of course, the cards are usually used, but there are so many things you can do with them, they make a great investment and give you plenty of material for Christmas projects like making your own unique cards and decorations.
